The problem with the gallente is that their best cruiser suddenly has lost its bonus in the most important PvE environment. If you want to raise standing you do missions - and kill missions require you to go into deadspace. The Thorax has a MWD b...

Well - i belive the "disappear on logout" is a protection against connection loss. Which is all to common in MMOs. Having a disconnect while doing Mordus etc will leave you in a pod if that mechanic is disabled. That probably is nothing big Corps ...

I would guess they become useful when you enter those multi-level scenarios. At least from the looks of it I would want to take a repairship with me when I fly into such a "dungeon" without the ability to get back to a base to repair.
